Terms of Service

If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs through your account.

You may not use MassMetrics to break the law, interfere with the service, reverse engineer the app, abuse support channels, impersonate another person, use a name or identifier you do not have the right to use, or access another person's account or data without permission.

If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, contact us promptly at support@discretesoftware.com.

MassMetrics provides tracking and informational tools only. The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or professional fitness, nutrition, or health care services.

You should use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional before making decisions that may affect your health, training, nutrition, or safety.

Exercise, dieting, and bodyweight changes can involve risk, including injury or adverse health effects. You use MassMetrics and any information you track in the app at your own risk.

You retain ownership of the workout logs, nutrition entries, bodyweight records, step data, notes, and other content you submit to MassMetrics.

You grant Discrete Software LLC permission to host, store, process, reproduce, display, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, maintain, secure, improve, and support MassMetrics.

You are responsible for making sure the content you provide is accurate, lawful, and yours to provide. Your content must not violate another person's privacy, publicity, intellectual property, contract, or other rights.

Joining a coaching organization is optional. When you accept an invitation, you allow its coaches to see and update your MassMetrics information as described in our Privacy Policy. You can leave at any time from the Coaching screen in the app.

Coaching services, including training and nutrition advice, pricing, and payments, are provided by your coach, not by Discrete Software LLC. Any agreement about those services is between you and your coach.

If you use Coaching as a coach, you confirm that each athlete you invite has agreed to be coached by you. You agree to use athlete information only to provide your coaching services, to keep it within your organization, and to follow the laws and professional requirements that apply to you, including privacy and health data laws.

You are responsible for your coaching services, the content you create in Coaching, and your arrangements with athletes, including any payments. You agree to indemnify Discrete Software LLC against claims arising from your coaching services or your use of athlete information.

The owner who creates an organization is responsible for its account, team members, and billing. We may suspend or remove a coach or organization that misuses athlete information or violates these terms.

Coaching subscriptions are purchased by an organization owner through Polar, our reseller and merchant of record, which handles checkout, payments, invoices, and taxes. Your purchase is also subject to Polar's terms.

Subscriptions are priced per athlete spot, and pending invitations count toward your spots. Adding spots is charged right away on a prorated basis, and removing spots applies a prorated credit to your next invoice.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. The owner who subscribed can cancel from the Billing page in Coaching, and a canceled subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period. If an organization's subscription ends, its athletes and coaches lose the app access included through it.

MassMetrics, including the app, website, design, features, software, text, graphics, logos, and other materials we provide, is owned by Discrete Software LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

These terms do not give you ownership of MassMetrics or permission to use our name, logo, branding, or other proprietary materials except as needed to use the app as intended.

Paid subscriptions in the mobile app are purchased through Apple's in-app purchase system on iOS or Google Play Billing on Android. Subscription billing, renewal, cancellation, and payment management are handled through your Apple account and the App Store, or your Google account and Google Play.

Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, your subscription may automatically renew according to the terms shown by Apple or Google at purchase. Your Apple or Google account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings or in Google Play. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google where applicable. If a free trial is offered, unused trial time may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where permitted by Apple's or Google's rules.

Your use of the app may also be subject to Apple's App Store or Google Play's terms and policies. If there is a conflict between these terms and Apple's or Google's required terms for in-app purchases, those terms control for the payment and store relationship.

MassMetrics may connect to or reference third-party services, including Apple Health, Health Connect, the App Store, Google Play, Polar, or external websites. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, policies, availability, or practices.

You should review the terms and privacy policies that apply to any third-party service you choose to use with MassMetrics.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of MassMetrics as the product evolves. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service or other users, or use the app in a harmful or unlawful way.

You may stop using MassMetrics at any time. Mobile app subscriptions must be canceled through your Apple account settings or Google Play, and Coaching subscriptions from the Billing page in Coaching.

MassMetrics is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Discrete Software LLC disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted or error-free operation, and results from using the app.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Discrete Software LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, personal injury, training or nutrition outcomes, unauthorized access, or inability to use MassMetrics.

If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

These terms, together with any terms shown in the app or required by Apple or Google for in-app purchases, are the agreement between you and Discrete Software LLC for your use of MassMetrics and Coaching.

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you through the app, the website, or another appropriate channel before or when the changes take effect.

Your continued use of MassMetrics after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, stop using the app.
